Zoo

Today was the first partly sunny (and non-rainy) day we have had in a while. So, we took Sara and Ross and their kids to the Point Defiance Zoo. The main attraction was the tigers. The zoo keepers set out special things (balls, logs, barrels etc) for the tigers to play with and then sprinkled something on top of them. When the tigers came out they were pretty excited to lick up whatever was on there! It was fun to watch them play.

Joseph and Moroni really liked seeing all those animals (even if they didn't get to see a pig or a lion like they kept asking for). Here is a picture of them looking at the arctic fox with Ross.

We always save the kid zone for last so the kids can play before we go back in the van. Here is Kaitlyn checking out a big spider web.

Sara took a picture of our family sitting on the seal statue. It is a good thing we brought warm clothes because it had snowed just a little the night before and it was still pretty cold.

I think we successfully wore everyone out and had a great time too!
