If I had to describe Christmas Day in one word this year I would have to say it was lovely.
Cody woke us up at 6am asking if it was time to open presents. Abi and Kaitlyn both woke up soon thereafter and we let the kids open their stockings. Then we opened presents together.
We had a leisurely morning with Sara and Ross and their kids. Then My family came over around lunch time. We had lots of yummy food to eat, the kids all had a great time playing together with their new toys. Sara and Scott played the guitar and banjo together. Lovely!
Before I knew it we were putting tired, happy kids to bed and remembering the joyous feeling of Christmas together with family.
