Tradition

Let the Christmas traditions begin...
The ward Christmas party was lots of fun. At the very end the kids got to go see Santa (Sonny Vandenhole ended up beging asked to do it at the last minute because the other man who was supposed to be Santa chipped his front teeth and couldn't come). The girls sat on his lap and took nice photos, but Cody would only come stand next to him (with much coaxing). He did however, tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas...Star Wars stuff.

Tonight for FHE we made our graham cracker gingerbread houses. I was very immpressed that Cody wanted to do his himself. He really did a great job! Much better than Mommy as his is still standing and mine crumbled into a pile of rubble. I told Dave that it is a good thing he built our house and not me, as this is the second year in a row that my gingerbread house has collapsed!

Abi next to her house and Mommy's (just before it collapsed).

Cody, Daddy, Abi and Mommy's (after collapsing) gingerbread houses.

Cody got tired after a while and says he will finish his tomorrow.

Cody is posed perfectly in front of the background to make it look like he is wearing reindeer antlers - Cody did you plan that?
