Happy Easter!

First of all here is todays picture of Kaitlyn for Grandma Burt to see. My Mom came over yesterday and we pulled out my baby pictures. She sure looks a lot like infant me! There are a few little differences of course, but a striking resemblance nonetheless. If I get really ambitious I'll have to scan in my picture and put it next to hers for your viewing pleasure.

Generally, we do all the non-Jesus related Easter celebrations on Saturday so that Easter can be more centered around Christ. This year Cody had the stomach flu and has not been able to participate in much. When we dyed eggs he got up and dropped one egg into the dye and then went and laid back down without ever even looking to see how it turned out. He looked through his easter basket, but wasn't interested in even trying a piece of candy (so we know he MUST be feeling sick)!

Today (Easter Sunday) he woke up feeling much better so we decided to do an easter egg hunt so he could do something fun this year. Dave hid the eggs we colored as well as some plastic eggs that he put some loose change in (we figured they already had enough candy and didn't need more). Cody and Abigail had lots-o-fun running around finding them and then putting all their money in their piggy banks afterwords.
