We went out to my parents cabin this afternoon. My brother Gary just got a job in Texas, so this was one of the last opportunities we will have of seeing he and his family for awhile. Grandpa Scott let the kids use his scrap wood to hammer nails and they LOVED it! It kept them very well entertained for quite a while. Fortunately, they have a nice covered deck which kept us all dry from the rain showers that kept coming by. The cabin is finished enough that we could eat inside and stay warm and dry too! It looks really nice and will be a great weekend hangout for my parents.
