Dave took Cody on his first overnight backpacking trip this weekend. They left Friday right after lunch and got home Saturday afternoon. They hiked to Lena Lake in the Olympic Mountains.

"that was fresh until it wasn't fresh." Not sure what that means, but that's what he told me. They had a good time, but apparently Cody missed us girls back at home (it's nice to know he missed us).

Dad has been dreaming about backpacking with them (literally). We love the photos of Cody's cheesy grin! Did the fish taste good?
