Last night our ward activity was "A night at the drive-in." The kids all made cars out of cardboard boxes and we ate hot dogs, corn dogs and nachos with root beer floats for dessert and popcorn for the movie. The used a projector to put a movie up on the big screen in the gym at the church and we all watched the movie Cars.
It was a very cute idea. There are a couple new families in our ward and one of them has a little girl Abi's age. We had gone to the Marine Science Center with them earlier in the day, so as soon as Abi saw her new little friend, her eyes lit up and she said to me, "Can I go sit by her?" Then after eating their dinner, they proceeded to run from one side of the gym to the other throughout the whole movie. It was very cute, and luckily the movie was loud so they weren't bothering everyone by running around.
Today Cody and Abigail have been using their cars to drive around the downstairs and go shopping, or to the pizza parlor to eat....hopefully they will get good use out of them for a few days before they get destroyed (we all know it is bound to happen sooner or later).

Fun!!! How is Abi's arm? Does she steer her car with both hands?
