We took Abi to the orthopedic doctor today. After looking at her original x-rays he took the splint off her arm and after wiggling it all over the place he pronounced her fine and we went home.
I was NOT impressed with his examination skills, but at least I'm sure it is not broken now. She is still not using it as she normally would, but seems to be doing more the longer she has been out of the splint. She does not want to straighten it out all the way yet though, so we will watch for a couple of days and see if she seems to get better.
On a positive side, she got to take a bath tonight since she no longer has a splint that can't get wet. She was very excited about it because she has a new bath toy (a reward for going poop in the toilet with no poop in her underwear). For now we will just keep waiting and hope that she really is better and just needs a day out of the splint for her to use her arm normally again.
