Hiking day

Dave had the day off work today so we left first thing this morning to go hike Hurricane Hill. We did this same hike almost a year ago and thought we'd try it out again. The kids did really well. We had to carry Abigail about half the time, but Cody made it almost there and back again with out help. I carried him for a few minutes at the very end.

We saw some deer driving there. Then we saw a marmot, rabbit, and a chipmunk on the trail. We had a nice picinic lunch at the top and enjoyed the great views! The only misshap was Abi getting a scraped knee. She wasn't very happy about it, but we had bandaids and ointment with us so it should be good as new soon!

What a fun hike. That is something I am missing about the west right now since I'm in Florida! Adorable pictures!
