Christmas was a fun relaxing day at home this year. The kids got up around 6am and opened their stockings while mommy slept until 7am. Then we commenced to open presents. Grandma and Grandpa Burt stopped by to say farewell to us before leaving to start their journey to New Jersey. Then Grandma Heather and Grandpa Scott and Alex came over and the kids got to open more presents. We had a nice lunch together and the kids played with their new toys. Cody and Abi were concerned that Ellie didn't get any presents this year, but I told them that since she is so little she doesn't even know about presents yet and she wouldn't care. Next year I assured them we would make sure she had some gifts to open!
