Cody wanted to be a vampire (I left the red-eye in because it makes him look more like a movie vampire). He was worried that the vampire teeth would knock out his loose tooth, but they didn't and he had fun looking scary!
Kaitlyn got to be a cute little fairy. Some people thought she was Tinkerbell. I hadn't intended that, but it works just fine. She just wanted to run around at trunk-or-treat and was pretty frusterated with me for trying to make her hold my hand and go only a few steps at a time. She did like it when she figured out that by putting out her hand to people she got CANDY!!! She still wanted to run around however, so Mommy was glad when we made it back to our van and she sat down to eat a piece of candy and stayed there.
Abigail was a pink unicorn. After we were done collecting candy she went over to dance with her best friend Elise. One of the guys in our ward is a DJ and he brought his sound system and a disco ball thing (with moving colored lights) and all the 3-6 year old girls (and a few little boys) were having a marvelous time jammin' to the music! All in all a successful Halloween. It was even a clear night so we didn't have to worry about getting rained on! The kids were happy with thier loot and Mom and Dad were glad not to have to go ring doorbells to get the kids candy.
