This is where Dave has spent the majority of his time since Tuesday when he had his tonsils removed. Today is day five and he is still in a lot of pain. It hurts to eat, swallow, talk....you get the idea. The doctor said he would be in pain for about 10 days so 5 down and 5 to go. He is supposed to go back to work tomorrow, but we'll see how that goes. He is not supposed to drive while on the pain medication and I can't take him all the way to work. He claims he just won't take his medicine until after he gets to work (driving himself). I know he doesn't enjoy just sitting around all day and he can't do a whole lot right now. Hopefully this painful period will pass quickly and he will return to his usual self.
