We had a great time on our three day camping trip. Dave's parents and two of his siblings and their families joined us for our annual camping trip. We stayed at Mora Mora, but didn't get our favorite sites as the campground was pretty full. We did like the sites we got and by the end of the first day we were very greatful to even have found two spots next to each other (because the campground was completely full)!
We spent the first afternoon at LaPush (Beach 1). Everyone had a good time building castles and running away from the waves and of course eating!
The next day we headed to Ruby Beach (hoping for sunny weather) where the kids had fun climbing on rocks and playing in the fresh water that is right next to the beach. Dave built a little raft which the kids had a blast riding on! The sun did come out for about an hour and a half too (I have the sunburn to prove it).
That night most of our camp went to the program in the campground about wild life. Our family chose to go to Rialto Beach for a little while to play in the driftwood. We found a cool fort someone had made between two big driftwood logs.
Then today we packed up camp and headed home so we could shower/bath and go to a birthday party for Brooke and Alyssa (cousins from my side of the family). They had it a bouncy house place. There was a boxing/jumping area, a big slide and an obstacle course. The kids loved it! I wish it was closer so it would be feasable to go often, but I guess we'll have to wait a while to go back.
Now we are all tuckered out and ready for a good night of sleep!
