We're still alive....

It has been a while since I posted anything on here.  Yes, we are still alive, just busy!  I guess that comes with the territory of having four kids (especially when one of those is a clingy baby).  The kids just finished their mini fall vacation aka parent teacher conference week.  We spent Thursday and Friday at the Great Wolf Lodge (A hotel with an indoor water slide park).  This was the reward we gave Cody and Abi for doing the phonics reading program with me over the summer without complaining.  The kids had a blast!  It was super fun with lots of things for every age group.  If we had zillions of dollars to spend they have even more fun adventures going on all over the hotel from an arcade to mini golf (glow in the dark) to a magic wand adventure and more.  Since it is October they have nightly trick-or-treating.  They also have story times etc.  FUN, FUN, FUN!  The only thing I didn't like was that there were kids running and yelling in the hallways until about midnight.

Abi, Ellie & Cody all ready to go swimming.
Kaitlyn in her bed (in the "cabin" part of the room).
 Abi through the "cabin" window.
Cody in his bed in the "cabin"

While we were gone, Nathan Cleaver came and worked on putting in the road to Mom and Dad Burt's new house site.  Dave took a couple of pictures of the progress.

Mary McAvoy had a Halloween party at her house yesterday.  The kids ate lots of sugary treats and played some fun games.  Cody and Abi had their first experience with bobbing for apples.  Abi even managed to get one!  Eleanor was mostly interested in trying to pull the orange lights off the wall (and her cousin Wesley tried to pull a skeleton off the window).  Laurie Beth and I agreed that Christmas decorations may not last very long near the floor area in our houses with these babies around!

Strawberry shortcake and Ninja

 Clown and Mr. Incredible
One of the kids took the camera and got a pretty good shot of Ellie!
