Dave took Cody and Abi on a backpacking trip to Silver lake yesterday and today. Since I wasn't there I can't say too much about how it was, but they had fun. Cody said that from the top of the mountain they could see Mt. Rainier and it looked like it was floating on clouds. I guess there was a lot of snow up there still so they were kind of cold even with mummy bags to sleep in. They saw some deer and had fun fishing even though they didn't catch anything this time.

You've got some great little hikers! Grandpa is going to be so envious when he sees this post. I may have to tie him down so he doesn't jump ship.
