Halloween traditions

There are a few things the kids just LOVE doing every year. Of course pumpkin carving is one of those things. We let the kids carve their pumpkins a couple of weeks ago so right now they are really looking scary (as in starting to mold). They were so excited about doing it then though and this way they have gotten to enjoy them for a while even if they are looking pretty gross now!

Kaitlyn decided her pumpkin looked good enough to eat...so she did!

Cody carved his pumpkin all by himself this year.

Then of course we have to go to the pumpin patch/corn maze in Kingston. We lucked out and it didn't rain on us the day we went! Here are the kids on the top of "Hay Mountain."

Inside the corn maze. Kaitlyn wanted to get down and walk all by herself most of the time. It is a good thing her legs are shorter than ours because she can run pretty fast these days!

Monday is trunk-or-treat. We'll load up some pictures of Halloween costumes then....

I thought Kaitlyn was looking in her pumpkin until I read the caption. LOL that is so funny. Your kids are getting so big. It looks like everyone had fun!
