Musical rooms

We've been doing a lot of rearranging rooms lately. This past Fall as soon as the weather got cold enough for the heater to start coming on at night Abigail suddenly decided that she didn't like the noise of the heater in her room. Her room happens to be above the garage where the furnace is and it is the ONLY room in the whole house that you can even hear it.

After about a week of her coming in and waking me up at night (every time the heater turned on) we decided to move her bed into Cody's room. We had fantastic results! Abi slept all night again and Cody seemed to enjoy having her in there at night. This lasted a few months.

Then, Abigail started being very noisy at bedtime. She would climb out of her bed and get into toys, or sing really loud, etc. Well, Cody got fed up with not having a quiet room to sleep in and kept saying he wanted Abigail out of his room so he could go to sleep at night.

Once again we moved Abi. This time she is in the bonus room. It has been four days and so far everyone is happy and sleeping well. Hopefully we are done playing musical rooms because there aren't any more options for moving Abi's bed. She will just have to be happy where she is for now!

In order to move Abi's bed into the bonus room we had to move our futon couch out. That is where the kids had a spot to watch movies when Daddy was using the downstairs t.v. So, these two pictures are of the kids on their new bean-bags which will be substitutes for the couch and can be stored under Abi's bed when not in use.

Too cute Kristi! That cracks me up about Cody - It's good he's assertive though because I think Abi is DEFINITELY assertive too! :) I'm looking forward (not!) to uniting Sarah and Allison in the same room...we'll see...I may be calling you for tips!
