Our ward Christmas party was a little bit different this year. They had a "Santa's Workshop" where there were several stations and at each station was a craft or some sort of assembly line to make things for those less fortunate in our community this year. We made cedar wreaths, cards, bags with personal hygene items, bags with cake mixes and frosting inside, blankets etc.
I have to admit I was skeptical because I always enjoy the traditional dinner, but it went well and lots of items were made to donate to various shelters here. Fortunatly, they did still have a Santa and stockings filled with treats for the kids.

Cody and Abigail with Santa (otherwise known as Brother Clasen). We have never tried to tell our kids that Santa Clause is real. This year Cody figured out that Santa is NOT real and he has been horrifying other parents by announcing it to all the other children he sees. His poor primary teacher almost had a meltdown in her class last week because he announced very loudly in class that, "My mom says Santa isn't real." His teacher came up with a good explanation to satisfy everyone and hopefully Cody hasn't ruined Christmas for the rest of the kids in his class this year!

You don't look that big! You look just right!
Pretty funny about Cody spilling the beans. How did he find out? The looks on their faces are pretty cute of them sitting on the "fake santa".
