End of the Summer Vacation

Our last family vacation of the summer was to spend three days and two nights at Ensign Ranch. We had a great time playing on the water slide (really like a big slip and slide), swimming in the little lake/pond, horseback riding and playing on the playground. The men got in some games of frisbee golf and the kids got the dads and Grandpa to play baseball with them. We slept in bunkhouses which was nice for a very pregnant momma. They had thick mattress pads plus I brought a pad of my own. It wasn't my own bed, but I got a decent amount of sleep!

I think my kids liked it. Kaitlyn keeps asking when we can go back so she can play on the water slide some more. Cody loved the 45 minute horse back ride with Aunt Laurie Beth and Joshua. All in all a good time was had by all.

We came home to gusting winds and later on rain. The power went out before anyone could bathe or do laundry, but luckily, was back on this morning so we could get baths/showers in before going to church.

Abi didn't quite make the weight requirement for the long horse ride, but got to have a parent-led ride instead.
