Snow!

I know for some of you snow is not cause for excitement, but around here two inches of snow is a major celebration (at least among those ages 10 and under in our house)!  I think this is the most my kids have played outside in at least a couple of months.  They went sledding, built snow forts, made snow angels and had snowball fights.  They should be totally worn out and sleep really well tonight!

Later this afternoon with went with my parents to the woods (my dad works in the forestry industry) and cut down a Christmas tree.  It is our "wild" Christmas tree because we usually go to a tree farm.  This year we decided we would spend the $80 on something else and get the tree free!
