Party at the Burt's!

We spent New Years Eve celebrating things the Burt way. We danced the virginia reel, had races pushing oranges across the floor with our noses, and raced across the room with peanuts in spoons. The kids had fun and they were all worn out by 8pm so we took them home to bed. Dave and I didn't even try to stay up 'til midnight. It just isn't worth it when you have small children who will still wake up at the same time no matter what. We did get to listen to all the BOOMS of the neighborhood shooting off fireworks though. Thankfully they weren't loud enough to keep the kids awake :)
