Spring break

Well, pre-spring break really since that doesn't officially start until next week. Because of parent-teacher conferences Cody had most of this week off as well so we took a trip to Pacific Beach. We stayed at the Naval resort there and got to soak in the enormous hot tub, play in the game room, go hiking in the pouring rain, play on the beach, try out bumper cars and bumper boats and just enjoy being with our family.

Someday we will actually have to go during summer instead of spring (or fall like last time we went) so that we can enjoy warm sunshine. At least it stopped raining long enough for us to have some beach time.

Kaitlyn didn't want to crawl on the wet sand so she decided to try walking while holding our hands for the first time ever.
