Memorial Day Weekend

We decided (somewhat last minute) to go camping at Dungeness for a night over Memorial Day Weekend. We left early since we didn't have a reservation. It was a good thing we did because the campground was FULL later on that day. The weather was beautiful and we had fun playing in our camping spot as well as at the little playground there. After setting up camp we went to Hurricane Ridge to play around in the snow. We just walked around and had a couple of snowball fights. It was sunny and bright so it is a good thing we had sunglasses!

The next day we walked down to the spit to play. We didn't really walk very far because the kids were just interested in playing in the sand and water. We saw some deer on the beach and watched them run up the steep hillside too. It was another lovely day and the kids had a blast!

On Monday we went to my parents house to eat and kayak. The weather was still nice and the kids played in the hot tub, kayaked in the bay, played with their dog, and had a fabulous time.
